She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami, USA. Coming from a family with deep roots in the real estate industry, she became Northern Cyprus' first certified (chartered) surveyor.

As the director of RE/MAX Golden, Benan Kursat brought RE/MAX, the international property marketing giant, to North Cyprus in 2003. This significant initiative marked a turning point in the region's real estate sector, positioning her as a key player in the local property market.
